Overview

MMI-175 is an experimental small molecule hybrid peptide with the molecular formula C38H62N6O8 and a molecular weight of approximately 731 Da. It has been investigated as a β-site amyloid precursor protein cleaving enzyme 1 (BACE1) inhibitor, which is a target for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. BACE1 inhibitors are designed to reduce the production of amyloid-beta peptides implicated in Alzheimer's pathology. There are no approved indications or marketed formulations for this compound, and it remains at an early stage of development[1][3][7].
