Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MNC-026 is a live biotherapeutic product (LBP) developed by MoonBio (Moons) for the treatment of solid tumors. As an immuno-oncology (IO) microbiome-based therapy, it consists of specific bacterial strains designed to modulate the gut microbiota to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is intended to function by altering the microbial environment in the gut to stimulate systemic immunity, potentially improving the efficacy of other cancer treatments or acting as a standalone therapy. MNC-026 is currently in the IND-enabling or early clinical stage of development.
