Overview

MNC101 is a novel peptide fragment derived from Mesencephalic Astrocyte-derived Neurotrophic Factor (MANF) being developed by MyNeuroCure for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The drug exhibits a dual mechanism of action: it modulates the Unfolded Protein Response (UPR) to alleviate endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and inhibits the synthesis and release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Designed to be blood-brain barrier (BBB) penetrant, MNC101 is administered via subcutaneous injection. It is currently in preclinical development for ALS and Multiple Sclerosis, with discovery-stage programs targeting Parkinson's disease and Diabetes Mellitus.
