Overview

MNC101-MS is a preclinical-stage peptide fragment derived from Mesencephalic Astrocyte-derived Neurotrophic Factor (MANF), being developed by MyNeuroCure for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The drug is designed as a blood-brain barrier-penetrant biologic that exerts a dual mechanism of action: intracellularly, it modulates the Unfolded Protein Response (UPR) to alleviate endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, and extracellularly, it inhibits the synthesis and release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Administered via subcutaneous injection, MNC101-MS aims to address both the neurodegenerative and inflammatory components of MS pathology.
