Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MNI-1038 is a fluorine-18 labeled positron emission tomography (PET) radiotracer that targets synaptic vesicle glycoprotein 2A (SV2A). It is the racemic mixture of SynVesT-1 (also known as MNI-1126 or SDM-8). Developed by Invicro (formerly Molecular NeuroImaging), MNI-1038 is used as an in vivo diagnostic imaging agent to measure and monitor synaptic density and synaptic loss in neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and cortical dysplasia.
