Overview

MNS-FTD1 is an experimental therapeutic candidate being developed by Prediction BioSciences for the treatment of neurodegenerative conditions, including Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The drug utilizes a proprietary exosome-based platform consisting of engineered neural exosomes loaded with nucleic acid vectors. This delivery system is designed for brain cell-type-specific targeting of pathways associated with progranulin (PGRN/GRN) mutations, C9orf72 gene mutations, and TDP-43 protein aggregation. MNS-FTD1 is currently in the preclinical stage of development, specifically undergoing candidate optimization.
