MOC191 is a murine monoclonal antibody belonging to cluster 1 of anti-small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) monoclonal antibodies. It specifically binds to the neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) with high affinity. The drug was investigated for its efficacy in immunoscintigraphy of SCLC xenografts in a mouse model, where it was administered via intraperitoneal injection. While it demonstrated tumor uptake, its performance was less favorable compared to another antibody, 123C3, primarily because MOC191 is not internalized into tumor cells, unlike 123C3.
