Overview

ModCAR CD30 is a non-viral modular chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy being developed by Hauul Bio for the treatment of hematologic malignancies. The therapy is based on Hauul Bio's proprietary ModCAR platform, which utilizes a recombinant scFv-fusion protein to recognize and target CD30-positive malignant cells. Unlike conventional CAR-T therapies that rely on viral vectors for gene transduction, the ModCAR platform enables non-viral cell surface modification, allowing for rapid, modular, and customizable targeting of tumor antigens. ModCAR CD30 is currently in the discovery and pre-preclinical stage of development.
