Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ModCAR-CD30 is a modular chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy developed by Hauul Bio, targeting CD30-positive hematologic malignancies. The ModCAR platform utilizes a modular architecture designed to enhance the safety and controllability of CAR-cell therapies by employing a universal CAR-cell that is activated only in the presence of a specific adapter molecule (switch). This candidate is being investigated for the treatment of various blood cancers, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). It is currently in preclinical development.
