Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ModCAR-Her2 is a preclinical-stage modular chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy being developed by Hauul Bio for the treatment of HER2-positive solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and colorectal cancer (CRC). The ModCAR platform utilizes a modular approach to CAR design, intended to enhance the precision and control of CAR cell activity against tumor cells expressing the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). By targeting HER2, a well-validated oncogenic driver in various malignancies, ModCAR-Her2 aims to overcome the challenges of traditional CAR-T therapies in solid tumor environments, such as antigen heterogeneity and off-tumor toxicity.
