Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ModCAR-Mesothelin is a preclinical-stage modular chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) cell therapy being developed by Hauul Bio for the treatment of mesothelin-expressing solid tumors. The therapy utilizes Hauul Bio's proprietary ModCAR platform, which features a modular design intended to provide greater control over CAR-cell activity and reduce the risk of off-tumor toxicities. The program is currently being evaluated for indications including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and colorectal cancer (CRC). By targeting mesothelin, a cell-surface glycoprotein overexpressed in various malignancies, ModCAR-Mesothelin aims to provide a potent and selective therapeutic option for patients with difficult-to-treat solid tumors.
