Overview

ModeX Therapeutics, a subsidiary of OPKO Health, is developing a multispecific antibody for the treatment and prevention of influenza. Built on the proprietary MSTAR (Multispecific Trans-Antigen Receptor) platform, this therapeutic candidate incorporates multiple independent binding sites into a single molecule to target various conserved epitopes of the influenza virus. This design aims to provide broad-spectrum neutralization against a wide range of seasonal and pandemic influenza strains, including those that may emerge in the future. The program, which is currently in preclinical development, has received funding from BARDA and is exploring both protein and gene-based delivery methods.
