Overview
Modified Chaihushugan granules (also known as modified Chaihu Shugan San granules) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Jiangsu Province Hospital on Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine. It is a modified version of the classic Chaihu Shugan San (Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder) formula, prepared in a granule dosage form. The formulation is designed to soothe the liver, regulate qi, and harmonize the stomach. It is being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG), particularly in patients presenting with liver-stomach disharmony or liver qi stagnation syndromes.
