Modified recombinant H7 hemagglutinin influenza vaccine + Advax-1 adjuvant is a combination vaccine composed of a recombinant H7 subtype hemagglutinin (HA) protein from influenza virus engineered for improved immunogenicity, formulated with the Advax-1 adjuvant. Advax-1 is a polysaccharide-based adjuvant consisting of crystallized delta inulin, designed to enhance both humoral (antibody-mediated) and cellular immune responses without significant reactogenicity. The H7 hemagglutinin functions as the immunogen, eliciting immune responses specific for H7 influenza viruses, while Advax-1 increases the magnitude, breadth, and durability of these responses by improving antigen presentation and co-stimulatory molecule expression on antigen-presenting cells, resulting in improved B cell and T cell activation[1][5].
