Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Modified Xinglou Chengqi Granules (also known as Jiawei Xinglou Chengqi Granules) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Southwest Medical University. It is a modified version of the classic Xinglou Chengqi Decoction, which is traditionally used to treat stroke and related complications. The formulation is being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of acute stroke, including acute ischemic stroke and intracerebral hemorrhage, to assess its efficacy, safety, and potential mechanisms of action, such as modulating the gut microbiota and reducing neuronal damage.
