Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mol-T is a fixed-dose combination oral analgesic tablet developed and marketed by Sanrey Therapeutics for the short-term management of moderate to severe pain. It contains tramadol hydrochloride (37.5 mg), an atypical opioid analgesic, and paracetamol (acetaminophen, 325 mg), a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic. Tramadol provides pain relief by acting as a weak agonist at the mu-opioid receptor and inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, while paracetamol acts centrally to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. This combination offers synergistic pain relief with a rapid onset and prolonged duration of action.
