Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**MOMB-Ag-NPs** is an experimental, green-synthesized silver-nanoparticle formulation designed to co-deliver methylene blue and *Moringa oleifera* extract for Alzheimer's disease. The formulation uses silver nanoparticles as a carrier intended to improve stability and brain delivery; in P301S tau-transgenic mice, intraperitoneal administration improved behavioral outcomes and was associated with reduced neuroinflammation and astrogliosis, increased antioxidant and autophagy markers, and modulation of AKT/GSK-3β signaling. Its proposed multitarget activity includes inhibition of glycogen synthase kinase-3β and inhibition of tau aggregation, together with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects attributed to the botanical extract.
