Drug intelligence / Profile preview
mometasone + hydroquinone + tretinoin is a triple-combination topical cream indicated for the short-term treatment of moderate-to-severe melasma and other hyperpigmentation disorders such as age spots and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The formulation consists of hydroquinone (a depigmenting agent that inhibits tyrosinase), tretinoin (a retinoid that increases skin cell turnover), and mometasone furoate (a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation). This combination therapy is designed to enhance efficacy in skin lightening while mitigating the inflammatory side effects often associated with tretinoin and hydroquinone.
