MOON101 is an investigational therapy developed by Moonlight Therapeutics for the treatment of peanut allergy. It utilizes a proprietary microneedle dermal stamp platform, known as TASIS (Targeted Allergen-Specific Immunotherapy within the Skin), to deliver ultra-small doses of peanut protein directly into the outermost layer of the skin. The microneedles are engineered to target skin immune cells, aiming to desensitize patients with peanut allergy by training their immune system to react less vigorously over time. The device is minimally invasive, designed for at-home self-administration, and requires only a few minutes per application before removal.
