Overview

MORF-088 is an orally bioavailable, selective small molecule inhibitor of the integrin αvβ8 being developed as an oral integrin-targeted therapy, primarily for the treatment of myelofibrosis and potentially other TGF-β–driven diseases. As an αvβ8 integrin antagonist, MORF-088 is designed to block αvβ8-mediated activation of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), a cytokine believed to play a central role in the pathogenesis and fibrotic remodeling of myelofibrosis, thereby aiming to modulate the disease-driving microenvironment and improve hematologic and marrow fibrosis parameters.[4][7][8][16]
