Moringa oleifera flower ethyl acetate extract (MOF-EA) is a botanical extract derived from the flowers of the *Moringa oleifera* tree, commonly known as the drumstick tree. Extracted using ethyl acetate, typically through ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE), this substance contains a complex mixture of bioactive phytochemicals. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that MOF-EA possesses significant antioxidant properties, effectively scavenging free radicals such as DPPH, ABTS, and nitric oxide. It also exhibits potent cytotoxic activity against specific cancer cell lines, including breast cancer (MCF-7) and ovarian cancer (ES-2). Furthermore, the extract shows antimicrobial efficacy against various bacterial and fungal pathogens. While it is currently being investigated in laboratory settings for its potential therapeutic applications in oncology and infectious diseases, it has not yet progressed to clinical trials.
