Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MorphoGel is a biocompatible, hybrid poloxamer-based hydrogel scaffold developed by Escape Therapeutics. It is designed to support two-dimensional (2-D) and three-dimensional (3-D) stem cell culture, maintaining the multipotency of human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and other somatic and stem cells without requiring enzymatic detachment during scale-up. Additionally, MorphoGel serves as a non-immunogenic, bioactive extracellular matrix scaffold for tissue engineering, including the construction of artificial skin (such as Escape's AlloGraf bilayered skin substitute) to treat scars, burns, and partial-thickness wounds.
