Morphomer a-syn (also known as ACI-5755) is an oral, brain-penetrant small molecule alpha-synuclein aggregation inhibitor being developed by AC Immune for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and other synucleinopathies. Discovered using AC Immune's proprietary Morphomer technology platform, the compound is designed to selectively bind to pathological, misfolded forms of alpha-synuclein with high affinity, preventing their aggregation and seeding, and reducing neurotoxicity. It is currently in preclinical development.
