Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Morphomer alpha-syn is a small molecule alpha-synuclein aggregation inhibitor being developed by AC Immune for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and other alpha-synucleinopathies. Derived from AC Immune's proprietary Morphomer discovery platform, the compound is designed to prevent the intracellular aggregation and spreading of pathological alpha-synuclein, which is a key driver of neurodegeneration in Parkinson's disease. The program has received grant funding from The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and is currently in the discovery and preclinical development stages.
