MOS2SIP

MOS2SIP is an experimental therapeutic vaccine candidate that is part of the Mosaic HIV-1 Envelope Trimer Immunogens program. It is designed as a mosaic immunogen to stimulate broad immune responses against diverse strains of HIV-1. The vaccine aims to enhance the immune system's ability to recognize and respond to various forms of the virus by presenting engineered envelope proteins that represent multiple global HIV variants. The development includes administration with adjuvants such as Monophosphoryl lipid A liposomes (MPLA-5) to boost immunogenicity. Its primary indication is for people living with HIV, with early-phase clinical trials conducted in Africa[1][4][8].
