Overview

This drug is a **combination regimen** consisting of five active agents: **mosunetuzumab**, a bispecific CD20xCD3 monoclonal antibody; **polatuzumab vedotin**, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD79b; the chemotherapeutic agents **cyclophosphamide** and **doxorubicin**; and the corticosteroid **prednisone**. - **Mosunetuzumab** redirects T-cell cytotoxicity against CD20-expressing B cells. - **Polatuzumab vedotin** delivers a microtubule-disrupting agent (monomethyl auristatin E) into CD79b-positive malignant B cells via an antibody conjugate. - **Cyclophosphamide** is an alkylating agent interfering with DNA replication in rapidly dividing cells. - **Doxorubicin** is an anthracycline that inhibits topoisomerase II and intercalates into DNA, blocking cell division. - **Prednisone** is a glucocorticoid with immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory properties. This combination is under clinical investigation for **relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma** (including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma), especially for patients ineligible for transplant. The regimen incorporates targeted immunotherapeutics with classic chemotherapeutic agents, aiming for enhanced efficacy in aggressive lymphoma.
