This combination regimen may be used as an alternative to standard first-line therapy (HRZE) or as part of regimens for drug-resistant TB when indicated[1][3][4]. The addition of moxifloxacin can enhance bactericidal activity and help suppress resistance emergence[5]. The regimen's use should be guided by susceptibility testing and clinical guidelines.
