Overview

MP-RM-1 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by MediaPharma for the treatment of solid tumors. It specifically targets ErbB-3 (also known as HER3), a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) family. By binding to ErbB-3, MP-RM-1 inhibits the activation of the receptor and its downstream signaling pathways, most notably the Akt pathway, which is frequently implicated in tumor cell survival, proliferation, and resistance to other HER-family targeted therapies.
