Overview

MPB-1734 is a novel anticancer drug formulation developed by MegaPro Biomedical using their proprietary nanomicelle technology platform. It is a nanoformulation of cabazitaxel, a taxane-based chemotherapeutic agent. The drug works as a tubulin inhibitor, effectively inhibiting tumor growth. The nanomicelle encapsulation enhances drug efficacy through passive targeting that increases drug accumulation at tumor sites while reducing side effects. Preclinical studies have shown that MPB-1734 has outstanding antitumor effects on drug-resistant malignant animal models. When combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies, it has demonstrated enhanced tumor suppression in animal studies.
