Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**MPO132-140-specific TCR-T cells** are engineered T cells expressing a T cell receptor (TCR) that specifically recognizes the MPO132-140 peptide derived from the propeptide region of myeloperoxidase (MPO), presented in the context of HLA-A*02:01. This cell therapy modality enables cytotoxic killing of HLA-A2-positive, MPO-expressing leukemia cells, including cell lines and primary samples, by redirecting patient-derived T cells to target an intracellular antigen associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Preclinical data demonstrate robust in vitro cytotoxicity, highlighting its potential as a precision immunotherapy for HLA-A2+ MPO+ hematologic malignancies, though clinical development status remains early or preclinical.[1]
