Overview

MPS-200 is an investigational therapeutic multi-peptide vaccine developed by the Fondazione Ricerca Traslazionale (FoRT) for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The vaccine is designed to stimulate a robust T-cell mediated immune response against tumor cells by targeting five specific tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) that are frequently overexpressed in lung malignancies: human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT), survivin (BIRC5), melanoma-associated antigen 3 (MAGE-A3), melanoma-associated antigen 10 (MAGE-A10), and cancer/testis antigen 1B (NY-ESO-1). By presenting these peptide fragments to the immune system, MPS-200 aims to activate cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. It has been evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials, primarily in patients with advanced or metastatic NSCLC who have failed standard therapies.
