Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MPT-062 is an oral, first-in-class small molecule T-cell modulator being developed by Matchpoint Therapeutics. It is designed to selectively address the overactivation of T cells, which is a key driver of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. MPT-062 utilizes a precision covalent chemistry mechanism to target historically hard-to-drug proteins involved in dysregulated T-cell activation. The drug is currently in preclinical development, with clinical trials expected to begin in 2027.
