Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MQI-20X is a preclinical-stage bispecific (bifunctional) monoclonal antibody being developed by Mabqi for the treatment of solid tumors. It targets the transient receptor potential vanilloid 6 (TRPV6) calcium channel, an oncogenic driver overexpressed in various solid malignancies, including prostate, pancreatic, and ovarian cancers, as well as sarcomas. By targeting TRPV6, the antibody modulates calcium signaling, induces tumor cell apoptosis, and reshapes the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment to convert 'cold' tumors into immunologically 'hot' tumors. Note: 'MQI-20X' appears to be an erroneous transcription or misread of Mabqi's lead program code 'MQI-201'.
