Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MQI-231 is a preclinical-stage, pH-sensitive antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Mabqi for the treatment of oncology indications. Designed using Mabqi's proprietary LiteMab Sense platform, MQI-231 features a conditionally active, pH-dependent antibody that preferentially binds to its target antigen within the acidic tumor microenvironment (TME) while showing minimal binding at physiological pH in healthy tissues. This tumor-selective binding mechanism is engineered to optimize the therapeutic index of the ADC by enhancing localized payload delivery and reducing off-tumor systemic toxicities. The specific biological target of MQI-231 remains undisclosed.
