Overview
MQU10 is a microbiome-based therapeutic candidate developed by GenieBiome (G-Nii) in collaboration with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the Microbiota I-Center (MagIC). It is a probiotic formula designed for microbiome modulation to address mood disorders in adults. The development program leverages the gut-brain axis, aiming to improve mental health outcomes through the restoration or alteration of gut microbial composition. As of 2024, MQU10 is in Phase 1 clinical development.
