Overview
**MR902** is an investigational oral prolonged-release fixed-dose formulation of **morphine + naloxone** developed by Mundipharma for opioid substitution treatment. The product was studied as 50 mg/0.5 mg and 200 mg/2 mg prolonged-release tablets, a 100:1 morphine-to-naloxone ratio. Morphine is the opioid agonist component, while naloxone is an opioid-receptor antagonist included to modify opioid effects associated with the formulation. A completed Phase 1 crossover study evaluated its pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and food effect against immediate-release oral morphine sulfate solution.
