mRIC is a modified reduced-intensity conditioning (RIC) regimen developed by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo HCT), specifically studied in the context of relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). The regimen consists of a combination of immunosuppressive and cytotoxic agents, including equine anti-thymocyte globulin (e-ATG), pentostatin, low-dose cyclophosphamide, and pharmacokinetically dosed busulfan, often supported by filgrastim. It is designed to facilitate donor engraftment and provide anti-tumor activity while minimizing the toxicities associated with traditional myeloablative conditioning.
