mRNA-1010 + mRNA-1345 is an investigational combination vaccine regimen developed by Moderna, designed to provide protection against both seasonal influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The regimen consists of mRNA-1010, a quadrivalent mRNA vaccine targeting hemagglutinin antigens from four influenza strains (A/H1N1, A/H3N2, B/Victoria, and B/Yamagata), and mRNA-1345 (mRESVIA), an mRNA vaccine encoding the RSV prefusion F-glycoprotein. Both components utilize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technology to instruct host cells to synthesize viral antigens, thereby eliciting a robust immune response. The combination is primarily evaluated for use in older adults, who are at higher risk for severe respiratory infections, and is being tested in Phase 2 trials for both concomitant and sequential administration.
