Drug intelligence / Profile preview
mRNA-1345 + mRNA-1273.214 refers to the coadministration of two separate mRNA vaccines developed by Moderna: mRNA-1345 (mRESVIA) and mRNA-1273.214 (Spikevax Bivalent Original/Omicron BA.1). mRNA-1345 is a monovalent vaccine encoding the pre-fusion F glycoprotein of the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). mRNA-1273.214 is a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine containing 25 μg each of mRNA encoding the spike protein of the ancestral SARS-CoV-2 strain (Wuhan-Hu-1) and the Omicron BA.1 variant. This combination was evaluated in a Phase 3 clinical trial (NCT05330975) for simultaneous administration in adults aged 50 years and older, demonstrating that coadministration is safe and elicits immune responses non-inferior to those of the vaccines administered individually.
