Overview

This is a **triple combination therapy** consisting of mRNA-4157, pembrolizumab, and chemotherapy. - **mRNA-4157 (V940)** is an investigational individualized neoantigen therapy: a messenger RNA vaccine encoding up to 34 patient-specific tumor neoantigens, algorithmically derived from each patient's tumor DNA sequence, and designed to stimulate a targeted anti-tumor T-cell response. - **Pembrolizumab** is a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1, enhancing the immune system's ability to detect and destroy cancer cells. - **Chemotherapy** is a conventional cancer treatment using cytotoxic agents to kill or inhibit the growth of rapidly dividing tumor cells. The combination is being assessed primarily in the adjuvant setting for completely resected high-risk melanoma and, in ongoing trials, for non-small cell lung cancer. Early clinical results indicate significantly improved recurrence-free and distant metastasis-free survival compared to standard therapy. Adverse events are manageable and consistent with known profiles[2][3][4][5].
