Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MRT5407 is an investigational quadrivalent messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine developed by Sanofi for the prevention of influenza in adults. The vaccine utilizes an mRNA platform acquired from Translate Bio to encode influenza virus antigens, specifically designed to elicit immune responses against four distinct strains of the influenza virus. It is formulated as a liquid frozen solution for intramuscular injection. MRT5407 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to assess its safety and immunogenicity in comparison to standard-dose, high-dose, and recombinant quadrivalent influenza vaccines.
