Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MRX-801 is a drug candidate developed by ImaRx Therapeutics as an adjunctive therapy for acute ischemic stroke. It was evaluated in a Phase 1-2, randomized, placebo-controlled, single-blind, dose escalation study to assess its safety, tolerability, and activity when administered with continuous ultrasound as an adjunctive therapy to intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) treatment. The development of MRX-801 was effectively abandoned after ImaRx Therapeutics ceased operations and underwent a reverse merger.
