Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MRX34 is a liposomal miR-34a mimic, representing a potential first-in-class microRNA therapy for cancer. It delivers the naturally occurring tumor suppressor miR-34a, which down-regulates expression of more than 30 oncogenes and genes involved in tumor immune evasion (e.g., PD-L1). The drug showed dose-dependent repression of miR-34a target oncogenes including FOXP1, BCL2, HDAC1, and CTNNB1 in clinical trials.
