MS-AP-031

MS-AP-031 (also known as MSAP 031 or Drug_54) is an approved, marketed non-oncology small molecule drug being repurposed by Mestastop Solutions to delay and prevent cancer metastasis. Identified using Mestastop's proprietary METSCAN® and METAssay® platforms, the drug uncouples cell proliferation from metastasis biology. MS-AP-031 works by promoting epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and shifting tumor cells towards the mesenchymal axis (M-axis) to a degree that prevents them from undergoing mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET), which is essential for secondary tissue colonization. It also inhibits tumor cell extravasation and colony formation. MS-AP-031 is currently entering Phase 2 clinical trials in India as an adjuvant therapy to delay metastasis in primary colorectal cancer patients.
