Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MSC 3P is an autologous mesenchymal stem cell (AMSC) therapy developed by Bioinova, s.r.o. The product consists of multipotent mesenchymal stem cells isolated from a patient's own bone marrow and expanded ex vivo under GMP conditions. In the treatment of degenerative disc disease and related spinal conditions, MSC 3P is utilized during posterolateral spinal fusion surgery. The cell suspension is typically combined with a synthetic scaffold, such as beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), and the patient's own blood to create an osteogenic graft. Once implanted, the MSCs contribute to bone formation by differentiating into osteoblasts and secreting trophic factors that promote tissue repair and fusion of the vertebral segments, providing a biological alternative to traditional autografting or allografting techniques.
