Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MSC-conditioned media gel is a cell-free biologic topical gel developed by OCT Therapies and Research for the treatment of oral mucositis associated with cancer therapies. The formulation contains a complex secretome derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which includes a variety of growth factors, cytokines, and immunomodulatory molecules. These components work synergistically to modulate the biological milieu of oral lesions, promoting tissue regeneration and wound healing. Currently in Phase 1 clinical development, the drug has demonstrated a favorable safety profile and dose-dependent efficacy in reducing ulcer size and severity in preclinical models.
