**MSC-ExoP** is an experimental plaque-targeting extracellular-vesicle nanotherapy consisting of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes fused with platelet membranes. The platelet-membrane coating retains platelet-associated surface markers, including GPVI, GPIbα, and CD62P, and is intended to enhance accumulation at atherosclerotic plaques after intravenous administration. In ApoE-deficient mouse models and vascular smooth muscle cell studies, MSC-ExoP increased vascular smooth muscle cell autophagy, inhibited proliferation, migration, and foam-cell formation, and reduced plaque burden, lipid deposition, and necrotic-core area while increasing plaque collagen content. It remains a preclinical academic research construct for atherosclerosis, without an assigned INN, marketed product, or reported clinical trial program.
