Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The MSC-exosome nebulization product is an investigational cell-free biologic developed by Guangzhou Double Bioproducts (Guangzhou Doublle Bioproducts). The therapy consists of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived exosomes, which are nanoscale extracellular vesicles secreted by MSCs. Formulated for delivery via inhalation or nebulization, the product is designed to deliver bioactive cargo—including proteins, miRNA, and mRNA—directly to the bronchioles and alveoli. This mechanism is intended to leverage the paracrine and immunomodulatory properties of MSC-derived exosomes to promote the repair of bronchial and pulmonary tissues damaged by infection or other respiratory injuries. As a cell-free alternative to whole-cell MSC therapies, it aims to reduce inflammation and support tissue regeneration in conditions such as bronchial and lung infectious injury.
