Overview

MSL2401 is a preclinical-stage bispecific antibody developed by Massalia Therapeutics for the treatment of fibrotic cancers and multi-organ fibrosis. It targets SANF (Soluble Angiogenic Neoplastic and Fibrotic factor), the soluble form of CD146 (Melanoma Cell Adhesion Molecule), as well as other components associated with tumor fibrosis. The antibody is designed to block SANF-driven processes including angiogenesis, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), immune evasion, and the transition of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts. This therapeutic approach aims to address the fibrotic microenvironment that contributes to tumor progression and resistance to standard therapies.
