MSP3-CRM-Vac4All is a protein-protein conjugate malaria vaccine candidate developed for the prevention of falciparum malaria, particularly in Africa. The vaccine uses a modified merozoite surface protein 3 (MSP3) as the antigen, conjugated to CRM197 (a non-toxic mutant of diphtheria toxin) and formulated with Alhydrogel as an adjuvant. The developer and primary sponsor is Vac4All, with clinical trials conducted in partnership with Sanofi and African research groups. The vaccine has been evaluated in Phase 1b/2b clinical trials for safety, immunogenicity, and efficacy in both adults and children living in malaria-endemic regions[1][2][3][5].
