Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MSTAR is a precision T cell depleter platform developed by Marengo Therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. The platform is designed to selectively target and eliminate specific pathogenic T cell populations, aiming to provide a more focused therapeutic effect compared to broad-spectrum immunosuppressants. By depleting only the T cells responsible for the disease state, the MSTAR platform seeks to preserve the patient's overall immune function. The lead candidate generated from this platform is MSTAR0801, which is currently in the discovery or early development stage. MSTAR complements Marengo's other T cell-focused technologies, including the STAR (bispecific T cell agonist) and TriSTAR (trispecific T cell engager) platforms.
